Practical Completion Inspection (PCI)

Handover Defects Inspections

For new house contracts that fall within the threshold of $7,500 to $500,000 Builders are liable to make good, without additional cost, defects in the building work that have been notified in writing within 4 months of practical completion.

The above prices are based on a single level brick and tile/metal home with slab on the ground, with 3 bedrooms and 2 bathrooms. The following surcharges will apply when applicable: subfloor – $50, granny flat – $100, additional kitchen and/or second level – $100, additional bedrooms – $50.
